Mark Chaffee - Chairman

Originally from the Syracuse area, Mark and his family have lived in Clifton Park since 2002 and are members of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  He and his wife Amy have three children, Ethan, Aaron, and Ashlyn and each are attending Our Savior’s Lutheran School. Mark enjoys being a dad, spending time with his family, and pitching in to help others.

Travis Coon - Parent, Member and Alumni of Our Savior's Lutheran School & Church

Travis, a lifelong resident of the town of Colonie and member of the church, is an alumni of Our Savior's Lutheran School. He and his wife Melissa have one child currently in the OSLS class of 2024 with a second that will be starting pre-school at Our Savior's in the fall of 2012. Travis is pleased to be a part of the school that brought such a strong base to his faith and education.

Melissa Derenches - Parent and Member of Our Savior's Lutheran School & Church

Melissa and her family have lived in Colonie since 2003. She and her husband have a son, Steven, who has been a student at Our Savior's since preschool. They became members of the Church in early 2009. Melissa loves to spend time with her family and growing in Christ.

Alan Fijal - Treasurer

Alan has been a member of the School Board since 2003.  He works at General Electric and is married to Lisa Fijal, who works at Our Savior's managing our technology resources.  They have four children who all attended Our Savior's since kindergarten and are now in high school and college: Jonathan, Beth, Thomas and Julie.  The Fijals have been attending Our Savior's Lutheran Church since 1994 and live in Clifton Park.

Nancy Neff - Parent at Our Savior's Lutheran School

Nancy is a self-employed certified public accountant. She also co-operates a family farm in Delmar. She and her husband Ken have four daughters; two are alumni of Our Savior's and two currently attend. Nancy also attended Our Savior's. The Neffs attend Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Delmar.

Tom O'Tooole - Parent at Our Savior's Lutheran School

Tom is a recent addition to the School Board, 9/2010. Both Tom and his wife Patty are privileged to
serve the Lord at Our Savior’s. Their daughters, Cassia, (class of 2010) and Megan have been students
at Our Savior’s since Kindergarten. He and his family are members of St. Matthew’s in Voorheesville.
Tom’s passion has been for the furtherance of the Gospel through Christian Education. Tom is a CPA
since 1983 and offers his fiscal experience to compliment the current talent on the Board.
