My Story
I am so excited to be making this move to middle school. I love science and especially math, and I can't wait to share these joys with the students! Hopefully, these students will gain some of my enthusiasm for the wonderful world God has created and the orderly way He has designed it.
I grew up in a small town in Wyoming, lived in St. Louis, Missouri for five years, and then moved to Niskayuna in November of 2007. I now live in Schenectady with my husband, daughter, and three cats.
I grew up Lutheran, and as a youth was quite active in an LCMS witnessing ministry called Ongoing Ambassadors for Christ. My family and I are currently members at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Niskayuna.
My Philosophy
God has created each child differently and has given each different talents and abilities. It is my job, with His help, to help each child use his or her own gifts and abilities to learn about the wonderful world that He has created, and most importantly about the love God has for each of us.
My Favorite Bible Verse
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:1-2 NIV
