My Story
This is my first year at Our Saviors. I am very excited to be a part of such a wonderful staff. This is my 26th year of teaching. I am originally from South Carolina and taught in South Carolina and Georgia until moving here in June of 2009.
My husband and I attend Bethlehem Lutheran Church. We have a son, Evan, and a precious lab named Coco. I love to cook and my husband and I love to follow Clemson University, our alma mater.
My Philosophy
God's love and mercy is unfathomable. I am amazed every single day at just how much He loves His children. I believe all children are precious gifts from God and it's my job to help them grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically. I don't take that calling lightly and I know that's why I am here at Our Savior's. I am so excited to share all my knowledge and expertise with my students. I love watching my students grow and I look forward to learning from them too.
My Favorite Bible Verse
I love this translation from the NLT
Philippians 4:6-7
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.
