This fun, strategy-infused activity is coordinated by Mr. Gansle. Students in 2nd-8th grade meet weekly for 6 weeks during the winter from 3:15-4:15 to learn and improve their game. Students are grouped in one of four different levels (Beginner, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Advanced) and play tournament style. Winners play Mr. Gansle simultaneously in a final battle of skill.
Students need to return the Chess Club Permission Slip in order to compete.
