Welcome to Lutheran Schools Week! We are excited and enjoying our fun days!! It was great fun to dress up as a character from a book today. Our class had several "Fancy Nancy's". Here are the remaining dress days:

Tuesday - Twin/ Triplet Day - Dress alike with another student or two, or three...

Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday - Dress crazy and do up your hair in a crazy fashion!

Thursday - Pajama Day - Wear your favorite pj's. You may wear slippers, but bring sneakers in case we have gym.

Each day through Thursday at 11:00am we are joining the other classes in the gym for an online mission trip to Thailand. We are learning about the country and the missions that are going on there now. Lutheran schools from around the US are also watching and participating at the same time we are! This event is sponsored by the Lutheran Hour Ministries.

Friday is a service project day. Some classes are going outside the school to help in various ways. Our class will be working with Mrs. Abbott's class to make something for the seniors of Our Savior's Church who come the first Wednesday of the month for worship. There is no special dress up day on Friday.

Next Wednesday, Feb. 6th is our Literacy Night. There will be games, activities ad snacks all based on the book Rumble in the Jungle. Our class has taken on the crocodile from this book.We will be decorating a door as well as part of a hallway with crocodiles. We will also be learning a little about these animals this week! Come join the fun. More information will be coming home on this event. Invite your friends as well!
