Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that we are over half done with the school year! We had lots of fun celebrating our 100th day. I had so many activities planned that we got to extend our celebration through the week!
Next week is winter break and there will be no school. I hope everyone enjoys the time off. My family and I will be taking the opportunity to visit family out of state.
Up to now I have allowed the children to bring in toys to play with during free time. This has not been a problem, but now we are getting closer to being in first grade. Toys will not be permitted next year, so I think now would be a good time to end the toys coming to kindergarten. Please have your child leave all toys at home. The “Star Student” may bring a toy for the show and tell day. Full day students may bring one SMALL stuffed friend for rest time, and that will have to stay in the backpack until rest time. Thank you for your help with this!
We had great fun celebrating Valentine’s Day! It is so much fun to see the excitement over opening cards and the many thank you’s said to classmates. A thank you from me for the many treats!
It was so nice to meet with many of you last week for conferences. I thank you for taking time to come in!
Once again, I hope everyone enjoys the week off from school!
Mrs. Mueller
