Thank you to everyone for the gift card for my birthday. I can't wait to use it! Thank you also to the moms who came in to help the class celebrate!

We are busy at work in our class. We are almost done with the letters in the alphabet. We have one more to go after this week. We will then move into combining letters to make new sounds and long vowels.

In math we have been learning about nickels and counting by fives. It is a challenge, but we are getting the hang of it.

We are about to begin a science unit on living and non living things. This will then move into learning about plants.

In June kindergarten through fifth grade will present a musical. We have begun practice under the direction of Mr. Baird. Soon the children will be singing the songs at home to you!

At the end of the year there will be a school yearbook. A pre-order form will be coming home soon. Watch for it!
