My Story

As I look at my life, I see the many ways which God has blessed and equipped me for His plan and purpose.  I am excited to be at the start of my 10th year as a Lutheran Educator.  When I was in first grade I was inspired to be a teacher by my own teacher, Mrs. Campbell.  She was not only kind and caring, but always set forth an example of Christ's love through her words and actions. Being a educator is so much more than just teaching.  We touch the lives of young adults every day, and God gives us the necessary tools to accomplish His goals.  I want to honor Him as I work with your children throughout the year.

My Philosophy

It is my desire to encourage each student to develop a close, personal relationship with God through their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to pursue His plan for their lives. I will allow them time to seek His will and reflect on His Word. Throughout the curriculum I will integrate scripture, teaching it not as a separate subject, but rather as a tool to use.  As they learn, I will encourage every child to appreciate and reflect on each experience while striving towards academic excellence.
